Hanukkah Gifts

Eight nights, eight giving traditions, one piece per recipient.

Hanukkah is the only Jewish holiday where gifts are formally embedded in the tradition. Eight nights, often one gift per night, given between family members. The original custom centred on small coins (Hanukkah gelt) but contemporary observance has expanded into substantial gifts on the first or last night with smaller tokens between.

Couture pieces fit the major-gift role naturally. A hoodie or denim jacket for the first night. A T-shirt or cap as a smaller token for one of the in-between nights. The work is Jewish without being religious, contemporary without being superficial.

Major-gift pieces (first or last night)

Letterform Artwork Hoodie — Men ($220)

The Hanukkah gift for a son, a brother, a husband. Hebrew letterforms embroidered into heavyweight cotton.

Hamsa Embroidered Hoodie — Women ($220)

For a daughter, sister, wife, mother. The Hamsa is the symbol of protection. The gift carries that wish.

Denim Jacket Meron — Lion Spirit ($220)

A statement first-night gift. The kind of piece that gets unwrapped to a long pause before anyone speaks.

In-between-night pieces (lighter tokens)

Star of David T-Shirt ($90)

A clean, substantial T-shirt that works as a stand-alone gift or as a layered piece worn under the heavier night-one hoodie.

Denim Cap — Hamsa ($90)

A cap is the cleanest small-gift format. Smaller commitment, immediate wear, no sizing concern.

Lion Spirit T-Shirt ($90)

The Lion of Judah as a quiet middle-night gift. Available in both men's and women's cuts in matching colourways.

Order timing for Hanukkah

Production and dispatch from the Israel atelier sits inside a seven to fourteen day window. Heavily embroidered pieces (hoodies, denim jackets) sit at the longer end. For first-night delivery, place the order at least three weeks before the holiday begins.

If multiple gifts are coming from one household across several nights, ordering them in one batch saves time. The concierge can confirm colourway availability across pieces and manage staged delivery if needed.
